Get Rid of Carpenter Ants

Yeah ima sking alot about these but, i was outside looking around to see if i can find a nest, i think i might have found the nest/ im calling an exterminator to fix this for us but for now.

I saw these TINY little black ants with the big carpenter ants, are these too carpenter ants?

Also is oatmeal oats okay to use instead of cornmeal/grits?
I dont have none right now only oatmeal oats i heard they work just as well
