Spinning Carpenter Ant
For months now, I’ve been having this terrible carpenter ant problem in my room. I walked in this afternoon to see an ailing one (presumably with a broken wing) just spinning around really fast.

Carpenter Ants
I think, let me know if I have mis-ID’d them. In any case, there were two pockets of mini swarms jsut outside my adirondack cottage door. Which is made of wood. Which made my parents quite concerned. don’t ask em what happened next… at least I had time to shoot the video.
